Mostar und Kravice Wasserfälle von Dubrovnik

Day trip to Mostar was the highlight of my vacation. I booked with Amico tours last minute due to a different operator cancelling my booking. Luckily Amico tours were able to accommodate me. The tour guide Gabriel, was exceptional. A mine of information, navigating contentious topics with respect. He made it seem like he was having a friendly chat, I think that's the beauty of small tour groups. He struck that difficult balance of being interesting, factual and not overwhelming with too much detail. He kept us on track without rushing us, very professional with an easy sense of humour. He is an asset to his company.

We took this tour on Wednesday 2nd October 2024. We had booked it the previous evening at the office in the Old Town where the lady was very helpful fully explained the trip itinerary to us. Our driver and tour guide was Gabriel, who was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Through the journey Gabriel gave a running commentary on points of interest and facts related to the just of the areas we visited. In Mostar we were met by a local guide who again was very friendly and knowledgeable and answered all questions she was asked. At the end of our tour, just after leaving the bus we realised that a mobile phone had been left in the seat pocket. We went straight to the Amico office where the lady contacted Gabriel, and told us she would call as soon as she had news. In no time at Gabriel called and arranged to bring the phone back to us later that evening after he had completed his work which he did. An outstanding example of customer service of the highest order.

Ich wurde Amico Tours vom Inhaber der Wohnung, in der ich in Dubrovnik übernachtet habe, empfohlen. Stanka im Büro war sehr freundlich, beantwortete alle meine Fragen und interpretierte genau das, was ich sehen / besuchen wollte, und empfahl verschiedene Touren einschließlich Mostar / Krawica Fälle sowie Montenegro. Sie half mir sogar, geeignete Tage zu wählen, um gemäß der erwarteten Wettervorhersage zu reisen. Im Vergleich zu meinen Beobachtungen und anderen Berichten verschiedener Reiseanbieter fand ich, dass Amico eine zusätzliche Qualität hatte, von der warmen, hilfsbereiten Persönlichkeit des Personals über die Qualität und den Zustand des Fahrzeugs (insbesondere ein kleinerer, klimatisierter 20-Sitzer-Kleinbus anstatt eines riesigen 50 + Sitzer-Busses) bis hin zum frühen Timing, um Zeit zu sparen - kostspielige Verzögerungen an den Bordkontrollpunkten. Die historischen Informationen waren faszinierend und ich genoss sowohl die Stopps an den Kravica Falls als auch Mostar (wo uns ein lokaler Reiseleiter für eine erste halbe Stunde traf) sehr. Gabriel war unser Fahrer und Reiseleiter auf dieser Reise und war wunderbar, freundlich, lustig, professionell, erklärte alles klar, fuhr vorsichtig und nichts war zu viel Mühe. Ich habe auch ein paar andere schöne Leute auf der Reise getroffen (immer nett als Alleinreisender) und kann in der Tat nichts an der Tour falsch machen. Ich würde diesen Service sehr empfehlen, ich dachte, es war ein ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und ich werde auf jeden Fall Amico verwenden, wenn ich das nächste Mal nach Dubrovnik zurückkehre. Dank Gabriel für ein wunderbares Abenteuer, das war wirklich einer meiner Lieblingstage während meines Dubrovnik-Urlaubs, Sie sind ein Verdienst des Amico-Teams!
